Choice at the Fountain

It was either just before, or shortly after I was opened, I don't exactly remember when. I had a dream - wherein there was a beautiful fountain that was centered in a court yard.

On the left side I saw a tall, handsome gentleman, most erect and well dressed. He stood firmly rooted in his place, and had a certain charisma, or respectability. He would exclaim the glories of the most high, with certain refined gestures of his arms and hands, while voicing the most beautiful poetic verses.

As he performed his rituals, the words would float upwards, say, about 4-6 feet above his head...... and then, some sort of blessing or self assurance feeling would then slowly float down upon him.

It was easy to see, from my point of view, that the blessing he received, was going up and coming down at his will, and was no more than that which he imagined for himself!

On the other side of the fountain were some Subud Brothers. They were a sight to see. Some were on the floor, as if weighed down with heavy burdens, some were kneeling, or shaking their heads, others were just quiet. . .

They all seemed to me quite pitiful, so humble, as if they could not help themselves much, they just flopped to the floor, wherever they were.

When the call to "BEGIN" was sounded, their movements were not at all noble looking, or even respectable in its nature.

Nevertheless, the atmosphere began to change, as if a clearing or space had been effected. And I surely felt the truth and merits of their crying and pleading, so earnest and natural . . .

I almost begin to cry, myself.

When suddenly, within my whole body and throughout my awareness, came a kind of voice.. yet not an ordinary voice.. but more like a shaking of my deepest place. Burned into this place were the words:

"If you will join those brothers who just surrender themselves totally, asking nothing, just accepting whatever arises within..."

At this point I became aware of a super-fine force, or a beam of fine light, so small that it was invisible... The light seemed to have its origin far out into outer space, and was suddenly penetrating into my body. As it entered into me...

I cannot describe this feeling.
as if a quiet touching of eternal peace
- - - -
ever so lightly, and gently spoke:

"You will always feel this Love From Almighty God"

Amen

with love and good will to all,

farlan
